2008 Airstream Classic 27FB – Lightly Used, Beautiful Condition – Franklin, NC

Available now in Franklin, North Carolina, this 2008 Airstream Classic 27FB is a well-preserved, two-owner travel trailer with very limited use and exceptional care. Purchased in 2019 from the original owner in Ohio, it has only been towed twice by the current owner and has been stored in a secure facility.

The exterior is extremely clean and looks nearly new, with original aluminum body panels, no hail damage, and no signs of corrosion or rust. All windows, vents, and hatch covers are intact and operational. The awning has never been used. Both the entrance door and locks are in excellent working order and come with two sets of keys. There is a small dent in the street side Rock Guard - see photos. 

Inside, you’ll find a warm and classic Airstream interior featuring hickory hardwood cabinetry, Corian countertops, leather seating, and original finishes throughout. The layout includes a front dinette (convertible to a bed), central galley and storage, split bathroom with separate shower and toilet/sink, and twin beds in the rear with panoramic windows and under-bed storage. All original curtains, floors, cabinets, and upholstery are clean and in good condition. The bedroom carpet may benefit from cleaning, but overall, the interior shows very little wear.

Appliances include a 3-burner cooktop with oven (unused), microwave, and 7 cu. ft. refrigerator with aluminum inserts. The trailer also features a 30,000 BTU furnace, 13,500 BTU A/C with heat pump, and a 6-gallon gas/electric water heater. All plumbing and electrical systems are original with no known issues or leaks. Damp Rid units have been used to keep the trailer dry and mold-free.

The trailer is equipped with a 30 AMP electrical service, power converter, sound system with four speakers, TV/cable hookups, and is pre-wired for solar and satellite. Towing equipment includes a sway bar and hitch, and tires are 15” radials with a spare. The brakes are disc, and all safety features were reported functional at last tow in 2022.

Included in the sale are the hitch, sway bar, water hose, bedspread, pillows, and kitchen/cooking items. The seller is also providing the original feature list and purchase documents.

This Classic 27FB is being sold due to the passing of the owner’s spouse and has been kept in remarkably original condition. It’s a fantastic opportunity to own a premium Airstream with low usage and timeless design.
