Description
This Tiffin Allegro Bus 40 QXP is a top-of-the-line Class A motorhome we want to sell with the tow vehicle, a 2014 Lincoln MKT. Both are premium vehicles. This 2009 model is equipped with a 425HP Cummins; a pre-DEF model so no DEF pump or sensor failures. One of my favorite features is the side radiator which allows full access to all filters and belts. With 2 full length slide trays underneath the RV and several other storage compartments, a built in vacuum system, and stacked washer/dryer, this motorhome provides all the comforts of home while on the road. Our longest trip was 3 months, 11,000 miles, coast to coast and border to border, and we were not ready to go home. Chassis batteries are 2 years old and house batteries, on a slide out tray, were installed last summer.
Designed for long journeys and extended stays, the Tiffin Allegro Bus is equipped with all the necessary features to make travel enjoyable and convenient. Passengers can relax in the living area on the leather couch which houses an inflatable queen size bed, 2 Euro recliners, and a slide out dining table for 4. The refrigerator functions on LP gas, inverter, or shore power. Hot water and furnace heat are provided via Aquahot system rather than LP. The wife really liked having the washer and dryer on board, never having to locate a washeteria. Four slides open to make a large living space when parked. There are tv's in the living area, bedroom, and one outside. We seldom watched any of them but did play dvd's in the bedroom while traveling with the grandkids. We did use the living room smart tv to watch movies utilizing a Hotspot on our cell phones.
The bedroom has a full size Queen bed, a very large closet, a makeup lavatory area with an extra large storage area separate from the private bathroom lavatory, numerous drawers and storage cabinets, and a spacious shower. Throughout the motorhome, thoughtful details like LED lighting, tile and carpet (bedroom) floors, and designer fixtures add a touch of elegance. Holding tanks include a 90 gallon fresh water, 50 gallon black water, 56 gallon grey water, and discharge via macerator pump which makes dumping tanks very convenient.
We would like to sell the 2014 Lincoln MKT with the coach as we don't need a car set up for towing without owning an RV. The car seats 6 with two sets of captains chairs, even a very small refrigerator/freezer, and many extra features. The car has an extended warranty good for another 15 months or about 12,000 miles. Transferrable with $200 deductible. Two new front tires and battery is about one year old.
We owned 2 coaches prior to this one, and this has been our favorite by far. Now, at 73 and having seen 47 of the lower 48 states, we are calling it quits. I'll throw in some coaching on how to use many of the features and things i have learned via school of hard knocks. RV's have a life of their own and each has quirks of its own. We will help you get on the road today. The coach is ready to roll as is the car, complete with Blue Ox tow bar and Blue Ox Patriot brake system.
