Description

1991 Fleetwood Tioga Arrow 24 Foot built on a Ford E-350 Chassis. Recently passed smog easily, registration is current and paid , with pink slip in hand. Still a relative baby with only 118,xxx miles on it.

Recently drove this to a private community near yosemite on some pretty steep and whindy roads, and it performed very well. I have trusted my own family in this RV.

Please read the entire post if you are an interested buyer. I will give as much information as possible to help you be an informed buyer. I am not a super motivated seller because, as is evident from all the TLC we have put in to this, we truly love this little Motor Home, but our family of six is outgrowing it and it no longer fits our needs.

Please do not ask "what's your lowest price" - that is a nonsense question, not how bartering works, and will be ignored. As I mentioned I am not a super motivated seller, and my price is already fair, especially considering all the upgrades and maintenance that has gone in to this RV.

I will break down this post into two parts, the Trailer itself and the Chassis:

Trailer:
Summar: All the devices work very well

AC blows strong and cold

New furnace blower motor, heats exceptionally well

Fridge works great and is both electrical and propane, and automatically switches between the two

All faucets have new gaskets, no water leaks.

Freshley sealed roof coat

I redid the bathroom floor, removed old carpet, replaced with SmartCore vinyl flooring, recaulked all seems

All lights are LED warm white (not the annoying cool white)

Replaced old light switches

Custom paint job - a little crazy, but we wanted something that was very different from the aged, ugly brown it was when we bought it.

Large Propane Tank - have only had to fill it once since we bought it.

Onon generator has been removed, and a custom compartment has been installed by local professionals and houses a 100amp battery (pictured). We dry camped with this trailer for 4 days, and still had plenty of power left. The battery is also connected to a monitor to track power use.

Issues:
Prior to us owning it the roof had a few leaks which created some water damage. The structure seems very strong, but aesthcially there is a spot near the dining table that needs some patching (pictured). The wide window above the cab has a crack. The tank capacity sensors sometimes work, sometimes do not - was never something I felt a need to spend time fixing. Dining table window screen is torn.

Chassis:
This RV is built on a tremendously powerful Ford E-350 V8 7.5 liter. 118,000 miles on the odometer.

Upon purchasing two years ago we immediately did over $1,200 work for new hoses, belts, battery, 1 tire, brake pads, brake oil and transmission fluid changes.

U-Joint replaced

6 tires are almost brand new. 4 are 2 months old, 1 is one year and the sixth is 2 year old. Plenty of life left in them.

When we first purchased it the engine had cooling issues. I replaced the thermostat, temperature send unit, and the entire radiator with a brand new aluminum radiator (with brand new coolant). Since then the engine temperature is stable and well within healthy range.

Issues:
The Cab AC does not blow cold. When we first bought it the owner said he charged it once a season and that carried it through. I never had that done, so I cannot confirm or deny the effectiveness - we simply only drove it in the morning or evening during the summer.

On a recent trip the engine stalled going up a steep grade. I learned this was from me not shifting to second gear like I should have and trying to stay in too high of a gear. It started just fine after 30 minutes, and on those same mountains in a lower gear it absolutely flew up and down with ease.

If it is cold outside, the transmission takes about a minute to warmup before it will shift out of park - I believe this is by design as it has a warming device under the hood that is connected to the radiator. It has never failed to shift to a selected gear when properly warmed up.
