2022 Rockwood Freedom 1640 LTD. We bought this new in March of 2023 and have used it seven times. We can't justify keeping it. Absolutely nothing wrong with this unit. It has an 8' box and weighs less than 1500 pounds. It hauls easily with most any kind of vehicle. We haul it with a Subaru Outback with no problems whatsoever. Before taking delivery, we had the dealer install a 15,000 BTU roof air conditioner. We also added 4" foam egg crate mattress pads under each bed. They do not interfere with the beds sliding in or out and improve the comfort of the original mattresses. One end of the camper has a 54x78" sized bed, the other bed is 42x78". Both beds have heated mattresses. The camper has a propane cooktop that can be used outside the camper under the awning or used inside when the weather is not ideal. The camper has a propane furnace that is thermostatically controlled. The camper came with a solar panel attached to the roof. It helps keep the onboard battery charged. The winch to raise or lower the camper is electric. No more hand cranking. We also purchased a 5-gallon tank to collect grey water from the on-board sink. This tank and its collection hose along with a hose to hook up to "city" water are included. Also included is a Reese hitch with anti-sway bar. Garage kept, the camper is clean inside and out.
