Description
The 2019 Thor Motor Coach Windsport 27B is a Class A motorhome designed for luxury and comfort on the road. With only 11,500 miles on the odometer, this RV is practically brand new and in great shape overall.
What we liked about it was the great layout. It's the shortest Class A we could find with a living room containing a sofa and a full dinette. The kitchen is generously sized, with microwave, 3 burner stove and an oven. A good sized fridge and a nice pantry and decent cabinet space round it out. Next there is a bedroom with kingsized bed, with a small nightstand on each side of the bed, with nice cabinet space overhead, plus some storage the foot of the bed and a good sized clothes closet. The bathroom features a toilet, sink and a shower, along with a bit more storage space.
There is a TV in the living room, another in the bedroom and also one in the outdoor entertainment area cabinet. There is a blu-ray player as well. And this whole living area can be expanded by spinning around the two captain's chairs, dropping in the additional table that goes between the two seats, and just like that, you've expanded your living room.
The captain's chairs make for a comfortable ride as you're going down the road. The front console has lots of USB outlets, power outlets, cup holders, fans, the radio/bluetooth system (which has speakers up front and also in the living room, so you can easily play music in the rig when you're camping.
Other features you'll love...the two A/Cs (one is standard, but our unit has two...one in the living room, one for the bedroom. They work great.). The automatic leveling system. The sway control system that was put in after purchase, and has made a great difference in the ride we experience. Upgraded batteries help a lot when boondocking. The onboard generator works great and if you need to recharge batteries when boondocking, you're good to go. (Also, there is a BlueOx flat towing system installed. It's included in the price, but we can't warranty that it will work with your car, or that you should even be flat-towing your car. That's up to you to figure out. But it's a $2000+ system, and works great if it will work for your vehicle.)
The exterior has lots of storage. And we're selling the rig with all the basic hoses, connectors, tools, etc. that you would need to be able to hit the road and go.
We enjoyed this rig very much, but our circumstances have us traveling by air a lot more (visiting grandbaby) and we just aren't using the RV enough to justify keeping it. It did take us to Zion, Rocky Mountain NP, Mesa Verde NP and lots of great sites in New Mexico and Arizona. And if our adult kids occasionally joined us, there was lots of space for them too (there is a queen sized overhead bunk that lowers when needed, and practically disappears when not needed.
We aren't available to just show this anytime, because it is stored offsite, and we're not always in town. So contact us to set up a time. The first day for viewings will be Sunday, June 1.
