Description
Presenting a rare and exceptionally capable Winnebago Outlook WF325F, professionally transformed into a true 4x4 go-anywhere machine by the experts at Quadvan. Located in Park City, UT
Built on the powerful and ultra-reliable Ford E-450 chassis with a Triton V10 6.8 liter enginerenowned as the ultimate overlanding platform fully equipped for serious off-road travel. To understand why the Ford E-Series is so popular for overlanding vehicles, check out: https://www.drivingline.com/article.n-is-the-ultimate-overlanding-build-platform/), Also worth noting, with millions of these Fords produced, there are plenty of parts and pieces floating around if you will ever need them (even if you are in the middle of nowhere).
The chassis was converted to a full-on 4x4 rig by Quadvan in Portland, Oregon who is widely considered the best shop for 4x4 conversions of Ford E-450s as they only use 100% new factory Ford parts (they basically turn E-450s into F-450s!) and their conversions therefore dont invalidate the Ford warranty or Fords crash tests. To learn more about Quadvan check out: https://quadvan.com/econoline and https://quadvan.com/faq. The Quadvan conversion includes a true Ford 4x4 drivetrain featuring a Dana 60 front axle, manual locking hubs, NV271 two-speed transfer case (high and low range), and manually selectable differential lockersgiving you unparalleled control and capability over rugged terrain.
Additional features include heavy-duty suspension with top of the line Bilstein double shocks, a 4 lift for increased ground clearance, 17" American Racing ATX series wheels, aggressive 32 BFGoodrich All-Terrain Tires (you can increase the tire size to 35 if you want) and strengthened OEM Ford F-450 suspension, chassis and drivetrain components specifically chosen and engineered by Quadvan for exceptional durability, repairability and off-road performance. In addition the powerful V10 engine ensures robust towing capabilities (5,000 pounds), making it effortless to bring along dirt bikes, ATVs, horse trailers, boats, or any additional gear for your adventures.
Designed for comfort and convenience on the inside, the Winnebago Outlook with its easy to use slide-out offers spacious climate controlled living accommodations for up to 6 people including AC for desert trips and frost proof plumbing for powderday boondocking or arctic adventures. The separate bathroom has a full shower and ceramic toilet (for those who prefer more privacy than what is available in a Spriter van!) and the cooking facilities include a regular size fridge, freeze, microwave, oven and stove. Fully outfitted with LED lights inside, you can stay lit for days thanks to the highly productive rooftop solar installation and without running the engine or generator. In addition the rig offers ample storage (including secure ski storage) and a basement for surf, ski and climbing gear, camping chairs, tables, hammocks etc.
Meticulously maintained, this vehicle has been stored indoors in Park City, UT, and remains in excellent condition with less than 61,000 miles. For context, mechanics report these engines easily lasting 250,000 to 300,000 miles without major internal issues when maintained correctly.
