2006 National Tradewinds model 40 C, 40 foot diesel pusher Class A motorhome.

This 40C features 3 slides with one slide in the rear bedroom and opposing slides in the living area which makes for a comfortable living space for longer stays. This motorhome has been kept under covered storage since new and is in very good condition. The coach is built on a Freightliner chassis and has a pre emissions Cummins ISL series 8.9 liter engine with 400HP and 1200 ft-lbs torque with a 2 stage engine (jake) brake that is rated to tow 10,000 pounds. Some of the other features include an 8 KW Onan diesel generator, side mounted radiator for easy engine access, hydraulic power leveling system, twin compressor basement mounted heat pump, 2 LP gas furnaces, side by side Norcold refrigerator, central vacuum system and GE convection microwave.

The coach batteries were upgraded to four 100 AH Lithium batteries by Lion Energy, and the chassis batteries were replaced in 2024. Additionally, the coach has a 2 KW inverter charger, which was also upgraded to a Magnum pure sine wave inverter charger in 2024.
