I bought this coach new and specifically chose the 2021 Fleetwood Discovery LXE 40D over the 40M because, as a bigger guy, I appreciated the ability to access the refrigerator and half bath even when the slides are closed. That convenience, along with the coach’s smart layout and ease of use, sold me immediately.
Since owning it, I’ve made a number of practical upgrades and thoughtful enhancements to improve both driving and livability:
Highlights & Upgrades
Safe-T-Plus Steering Control (41-230 Blue) installed – makes highway driving smooth and stable.
LED lighting upgrades throughout – including fog, docking, and tail lights – excellent visibility at night.
Shower lighting added – bright and comfortable.
Bedroom nook lighting and switches for wardrobe lights added – convenient and user-friendly.
Bose sound bar installed in the bedroom – big sound upgrade for evening TV time.
Seats and couches are always covered – upholstery looks like new.
Dinette replaced with an L-shaped couch – much more practical when family visits ( table and hardware included with the sale).
MICRO-AIR EasyStart Breeze 399 installed on all three A/C units – allows the 8k Onan generator to run all units without issue.
Valterra E-Valve Electric Waste Valve System – with switches in the mid-bathroom bay for easy operation.
Custom Wade RV carpeted front mats – professionally made.
Tire Pressure Monitoring System – for peace of mind on the road.
Entryway light bypass switch – prevents lights from coming on when entering at night.
8 remote-controlled luggage bay door openers – easy access all around.
Two window awnings added on the living area windows – helps keep the interior cool in summer.
Routine maintenance up to date – oil change, fuel filter, air filter done this year.
Remaining warranties included – valid through August 25, 2025 (Service Contract) and Freightliner chassis warranty.
