It includes a moderate size solar panel on the roof that is sufficient for off-grid camping for an extended time. (Cooking, water heater and refrigerator will run on propane. The batteries + solar are sufficient for LED lighting and electronic controls.)

We have used it for about 30 days over 8 trips in the 5 years we've owned it, and there is less than 3000 miles on the chassis.
