Grand Design has a well-earned reputation for quality and this trailer was built pre-COVID in 2019. It has been well maintained and is in excellent condition. Notable upgrades include an Equal-i-zer weight distribution hitch, Goodyear tires, lithium battery and converter, battery monitor, air conditioner Soft Start, Dexter E-Z Flex equalizers, backup camera, dimmers for interior and exterior lights, single-key locks, and front dinette seat storage. The trailer, along with its various features, systems and appliances are fully documented. A mileage log details every trip taken for a total of 22,464 miles.

The Murphy Bed, with a 2” pad, is quite comfortable, and folds up completely made to give extra space equivalent to a slide-out, but without the extra weight and potential problems. The bottom bunk bed has been converted to a very spacious dog crate (with a view!), but can easily be converted back to a bunk bed. The top bunk is currently used for extra storage.

A change in health now prevents us from RVing, so we are willing to sell the trailer fully equipped with everything it contains. We’re even selling our low-mileage 2017 RAM 1500 pickup truck, which is also optionally available as a complete, ready-to-go-RVing package.

The “fully equipped” option ($4,000) includes EVERYTHING needed to hit the road for RVing in comfort. Included are a well-equipped kitchen, bedding, towels, fresh water and drain hoses, surge suppressor, 50 and 20 Amp AC adapters, tire pressure monitor system (TPMS), wheel chocks and cradles, leveling pads, AC/DC air pump, 100W solar suitcase and 40-gallon water bladder for dry camping, a 2000 Watt Honda generator, Fusion2Go cell signal booster, portable grill and LP bottle, folding table and chairs, folding Schwin bicycle, electric heater, fans, ice maker, first aid kit, sewing kit, essential tools, critical spare parts, tank additives, cleaning supplies, and more. We even have an itemized inventory of where everything is stored throughout the trailer.

Also included is a library of books about RVing, trailer maintenance, travel guides and maps. Really, everything we ever needed on every trip we ever took, plus even more spares and other useful items stored in crates in our garage.

The optional tow vehicle ($26,000) is a silver 2017 RAM 1500 Big Horn four-door crew cab model with a 5.7L Hemi engine and 38,000 miles. It is equipped with the factory tow package, a matching SnugTop shell, a bed pad/liner, side boards and seat covers. The towing capacity of 8,000 pounds easily tows the trailer with its total weight of around 6,000 pounds.

The $19,000 asking price for the trailer includes the nearly $5,000 of upgrades identified. The$4,000 asking price for the fully equipped option includes over $10,000 of equipment and accessories. The Kelly Blue Book value for private party sale of the truck is $26,000 and that asking price includes over $4,000 of upgrades and accessories.
