Description

1999 Safari Trek 2830 – 454 V8 Chevy P30 Chassis
A rare gem with classic charm and a strong heart — recently updated, renovated and tuned up and lightly driven since. Ready for your next great adventure.
The Safari Treks are extremely well build, all aluminum frame, durable roof, solid wood cabinets, large kitchen and shower with closet (a huge plus). Very short at 28ft it can fit in a double parking spot, which is super handy when going to stores and traveling. In exchange for this the bed comes down in the front, which saves room. Not without it's problems, but will last a long time with it's durable build.
### The bad- Peeling clear coat - Not a huge deal, the base paint is still good and the aluminum won't rust. More a cosmetic issue- An ABS sensor is going out, hasn't been a problem, but get an occasional light, easy fix when time permits
### Recent Mechanical Work- Coolant flush  - Oil changed with high quality Mobile 1 synthetic and filters- Rear differential oil change  - Wheel alignment  - Front wheel bearings replaced  - Front brakes, rotors & calipers replaced  - Rear brakes replaced  - Rebuilt transmission (*with 100k mi warranty, low miles since*)  - Roof coated & sealed  - New Michelin tires  - New Bilstein shocks (front & rear) + steering stabilizer for improved handling- Generator tuned & running strong
### Upgrades- 1320W Newpowa solar system w/ EcoFlow  - Alows for true off grid adventures, run the AC and microwave without the generator- Stereo with CarPlay   - Huge plus for maps and music- Bright LED headlights, tail lights & ceiling lights  - Alpine house speakers  - Dual chassis batteries  - Fires the engine right up- New residential electric fridge - New roller blinds  - New backup camera
### Features- No slides (that’s a plus in the Trek world!)  - Electro Majic bed  - Fresh interior paint  - Rear toolbox included  - Space ready for your own couch/chair setup- Professionally cleaned  - Hand painted Lion mural on the back  - People love this and often wave!
101xxx miles, runs extremely strong.
Wonderful for a beginner or someone who wants an easy to drive Class A. Super solid bones, will last many years to come. A lot to love in this collectible Trek — built to explore and ready for more memories.
