The narrow body is easy to tow with a small pickup or mid size SUV. We towed with a 2021 Chevy Colorado and never had any trouble. No mirror extensions required.
The inside is 100% accessible with the slide in (great for stopping to eat or avoiding gas station bathrooms.
With the slide out, the inside opens up and is remarkably spacious for a small trailer.
Great for camping without hookups. We had a 100 Ah lithium battery (not included). Combined with the solar panel, we carried a generator but only used it once.
The tanks are big enough to last three days, or four if you are careful.
The absorption fridge runs on propane so will last practically forever.
The MaxxAir fan pulls a lot of air through. Open a window on the shady side and turn the fan on and it would stay comfortable inside up to about 85 degrees outside.
The inverter allows you to bring some smaller AC appliances. We had a 400 watt rice cooker and used it to charge electric toothbrushes. Power a 120 volt tire inflator from the outside outlet.
We took a couple extended trips with the R-pod and it did great. One trip was to Yosemite for 4 days. That was when we had to use the generator because it rained for the entire trip and so no solar to recharge the battery.
We stayed on top of maintenance and fixed things when they broke. There is some minor damage to the front right corner (see last picture in series). Everything in the trailer is functional.
We are selling because we fell in love with camp life and decided to go full time. The R-pod is a bit small for that so we bought a bigger trailer.
I have a load distribution hitch that we used with the R-pod. It is included if you want it.
I also have a slide topper that I never installed. Also included if you want it.
