Description
This is a 1997 Ford Econoline Club Wagon E-350 with a 5.4L Triton V8 motor converted to be a fully off-grid adventure van. It has been well taken care of in my possession. I have had it regularly serviced; replaced sparkplugs, serviced the transmission, new steering column put in, fully replaced the entire cooling system, and installed Bilstein shocks for a plush ride. The van currently has 17” HD Method Race Wheels with 32” BFGoodrich all terrain tires for maximum traction and reliability on and off-road. Included on the exterior are modern projector LED headlights paired with two pairs of Baja-Designs off-road lights for perfect visibility anywhere at night. For maximum storage there is a low-profile roof-rack with a Roam 95L rugged case. Included on the rack are exterior lights to set the mood for your evening camp activities.
On the inside, this van is fully outfitted to make sure you are comfortable anywhere your adventures take you. It is fully insulated and sound deadend from the floors to the ceiling to help keep road noise down and the hot/cold weather out. There is a custom fitted full size memory foam mattress, 14 gallons of running water, electric vent fan, can-lighting, seating area with custom made to fit cushions, captains chair, and a 12v Engle fridge. To add there is storage under the bed, bench, and sink to keep all of your gear out of sight. Everything inside the van is made from real wood and is built for a nice and quiet ride. For privacy, the windows are tinted and there are custom made curtains to ensure no one will bother you. Powering all the amenities in the van is a SRM-4D Interstate deep cycle battery stored neatly under the van. The aux battery is charged by a Renogy solar system that is bluetooth to check battery levels. The aux battery also gets charged by the alternator when the van is running. You will never have to worry about running out of power in this van. In the cockpit there are brand new seats and carpet with Apple Carplay!
My girlfriend and I drove this van on multiple 2500+ mile road-trips; living in it for 10-14 days at a time. Our favorite was exploring Yellowstone National Park. Having the van made these type of trips extremely easy. We were comfortable, warm, and being in a van made finding places to camp and places to park inside the National Parks a breeze.
