Description

This is our privately owned 2018 Forest River Sunseeker (nicknamed Sunny) MBS Class C 25’ long diesel motorhome with a full-wall slide. This motorhome is very clean inside and out. The large slide offers a queen-size bed, and two swivel chairs (originally connected was a loveseat with two recliners - which are also included). A full-size bunk bed is above the driver and passenger seats. Although the kitchen is perfect for cooking up your favorite family meals with its three-burner range top and microwave, we have never cooked in the motorhome. The rear bathroom is complete with a shower, sink, toilet, and skylight.

We have towed a 2011 Honda CRV 2WD and got an honest 13.5 MPG. I have not felt the need for an auxiliary braking system, although some states do require it. On one trip when we didn’t tow the Honda, we got 15.5 MPG. On many occasions you would not need to have a tow vehicle. You can actually drive this and park it on city streets. I haven’t gone through a McDonalds drive-thru, but I think you could if it wasn’t for the overhead bar that McDonald’s sometimes uses. When you are the driver, it is actually just like driving a van. This motorhome is 11’ 8” high (without the satellite Dish). If you need to remove the Dish, it is on a special mount that can be taken down without tools (see flagpolebuddy.com). I have added several items to aid in driving and/or piece of mind; such as a TPMS, Victron BMV712 battery/charging monitor, and Scan Gauge which constantly monitors many selectable functions of the engine.

If you travel like us and don’t spend more than a couple nights in one spot, this motorhome is the one that you will want when it comes to function and comfort. If you’re going to Florida or Texas and stay in one spot for months, this may not be the rig for you. This is one of the most attractive class C motorhomes on the market. The color backup camera will come in handy when parking into your campsite. It has side view cameras that activate when you use your turn indicators. I also added a second rear view camera (with a 7” monitor) that stays on continuously. The inside is comfortable, spacious, and stylish. The exterior is solid and reliable with its 1.5" aluminum-framed laminated sidewalls and gelcoat fiberglass with full body paint. Plus, all of the Sunseeker MBS models are "Certified Green" by TRA Certification.

There was a maintenance recall on the rear wheel speed sensors, which disabled the antilock brake system and
