Description
2012 Arctic Fox 992 purchased in 2017. This camper has been well maintained and kept up. A new roof was installed in 2017 with receipt available upon request.
There is some de-lamination of the passenger side exterior that you can see from the pictures but has not gotten any worse since ownership. I honestly think the pictures are worse than in person. There is no smell of mold or any water stains inside. In my opinion with the de-lamination being like this since purchased in 2017 there is nothing to repair. Someone who doesn’t like the cosmetic blemish could have the side replaced but I have never looked into it since its never been an issue. I also have no idea if someone wanted to replace the side what it would cost. That side of the camper is solid. There are no bubbled areas where you can push it in, it’s solid. There are no concerns about driving down the road and have the side come apart. The entire side is rigid and strong.
There wasn’t a generator or AC system installed from the manufacture. If you're not familiar with Arctic Fox Campers, they all come completely wired for all options Arctic Fox offers. If you wanted to install a generator, all the wiring and propane hookups are there. If you wanted to install an AC, all the wiring is preinstalled. We used a portable 2000 watt generator and it served all our needs. We never camped in hot weather so AC was never needed but it does have a Fantastic Fan to help cool by drawing air in from the outside or exhausting air from inside out.
This camper has been perfect for our style of boon-docking in both summer and winter weather. There have been some modifications such as insulating the propane gas compartment, battery compartment (LiFePO4 batteries)and all windows and vents have insulated covers except the dinette window and a small kitchen window. This has greatly helped decrease the amount of propane needed in extreme cold weather. Since ownership we have replaced the water heater (2018), the awning(2023), kitchen faucet(2024) and 2 Lion UT 700 LiFePo4 batteries with new solar charging controllers for LiFePo4 batteries(2019). There are other smaller items replaced such as the CO2 and smoke alarms to name a couple. Regular maintenance has been done every year such as winterizing, washing and cleaning the camper. This camper has spent it's life in California except the last 2 years in Colorado.
I will deliver up to 400 miles from zip code 81401 for an agreed price.
