Description

Purchased new from Lowry’s RV Center in Silver City, New Mexico in the summer of 1990.
A Full write up all the features and benefits of the unit can be seen at: https://northwoodmfg.com/travel-trailers/nash/nash-29s/

This unit has been well cared for and lightly used. It’s been winterized every year and is in excellent shape overall. There are only 2 issues of which I’m aware and I want to fully disclose them. . Neither has interfered in anyway with our enjoyment of the home over the years and multiple trips, but I want to let the potential buyer know about them in advance :

  • The first I believe is minor and easily fixable and only relevant if one is going to use it in the winter and need the heater. Several years ago, for some reason, the heater began to put out heat on its own when not wanted. We spoke to the dealership and they suggested that the quickest solution, since we don’t use the unit in the winter, was just to clip a particular wire in a particular location which we did. Problem solved. If the buyer wants to use the heater in the winter, then I imagine there would be some small repair needed.
  • Second issue is that just one day after purchasing this beautiful RV and driving it home across half the country, novice driver that I was, at slow speed in a parking lot, I accidentally let its left side scrape against the eave of a roof, causing a gash in the front left side that was 2-3 feet in length. Pictures attached. I was able to completely repair and seal the external portion of this and it has been satisfactory in appearance and function ever since. We’ve had no issues with water or anything else. it did cause a small bend in the front portion of the slide’s frame, but again, it functions normally and there’s been no issue with any sort of water leak, etc.
On the interior it caused tears to the wall board and molding in a portion of the front bedroom wall, which we simply put back together with tape , etc… that after first repairing the studs behind the wall. Although it’s not perfect in appearance, it certainly been good enough and has been no issue for us using and enjoying the home. However, I’m sure someone could have it professionally repaired to the dealership if they wanted to make it look like new again.

I have focused the photos on this area so there's no wasted time.

I will include the Equal-I-Zer sway bar system that we have installed. Also a number of other RV accessories that I can potentially include in a deal as well.
