Description

We are sad to part with our beloved Lance camper but we have moved to a 5th wheel and it's time to say goodbye. It is extremely well maintained, clean, never smoked in, no pets and fully functional. We planned meticulously shopping and acquiring it in February 2020. The camper was purchased lightly used from an RV dealer in Oregon. Of the used TCs available in 2020 the 992 was the best option to fit a long bed truck without mandating a dually.
The 992 has a ridiculously large interior space with the slides out (some photos slide is not fully extended), even beating the newer TCs that were available in 2020. The dinette has a superslide going out nearly 3 feet and the kitchen slide moves completely out of the way of the cabover queen bed allowing the sleeper on the left side to not disturb the sleeper on the right getting in and out of bed. All of this functionality with a reasonable dry weight that can be towed on a single wheel, 1 ton, long bed truck. We tow with empty tanks as often as possible, but if I were towing it on a dually I'd leave the water in the tanks when necessary.
We wanted a dry bath but the weight cost was too much plus a dry bath would eat into the interior 10' length. Living space was the most important consideration for us over having to wipe down the shower/bath once each night. We've traveled a few long trips with this rig, even to the Keys and back and found the livability to be superb for a TC.
This 992 is fully loaded with 4 Season package, Onan 2500 generator (only 11 hours), 13000 BTU AC (added), 170 Watt solar panel keeps battery charged, 19" swing out TV, sound system w/DVD, microwave, 2-stage furnace, day/night shades, slide awnings, rear awning, roof rack, fold down bunk bed and swing out dually friendly front jacks. There are a number of upgrades to storage space and usability included. Everything is working and well maintained.
The TC has a custom made backup camera (I'm an electrical engineer) mounted to the rear that plugs into my Chevy tailgate backup camera. If you are going to put it on a GM with a compatible plug then I may include the camera.
You may not be ready with your truck setup or even never intend to get a truck; just want to park it on the side of your house. We will consider delivery for $5/mile if you need/want that. If you are more than a day's round trip away there will be extra cost of $300/night. You won’t find a better Lance camper in this price range in as good condition inside and out.
