Description

This was our dream travel trailer which we upgraded to less than 2 years ago after learning a lot about what makes an ideal unit, having owned a similar unit from Highland Ridge for 7 years. We love our Lance which we are struggling to let go of, but the constraints of age and physical ability in our mid 70s make it necessary. Please watch the video to understand why we love this unit. This 2465 was loaded with almost all options available:
- Solar Panel – 190 Watt
- 2nd Solar Panel – 190 Watt
- Dual Lithium Batteries
- Roof rack
- Fire place (a wonderful source of heat and my wife's favorite feature!)
- Exterior Mountain Scene Graphics (compare to those without this)
- Interior Roadster (our favorite)
- TV LED 40 in 12 Volt
- TV LED 40 in 12 Volt (Bedroom) W/Power Lift
- King Size Bed
- A/C Dual (run one at a time or both)
- Revolution entry step 25 in.
- 2 Awnings (16'/6') OTD Power w/ LED Lighting
- All weather package
- Spare tire
- Electric Stabilizer jacks
- Electric tongue jack
- 5 Gal Propane tanks (3)
- Smart variable speed venting fan in kitchen/dining

To understand the advantages of this particular Lance 2465, consider these important repairs and service you would not know about without having the full history:
1. This unit has had only 2 owners. The complete usage history is available to you on request. This important fact is not available from most dealers. We refused to purchase the unit from a dealer because they would not reveal the history. Knowing the previous life of our RV is very important to us.
2. Repairs you may not realize need to be made (even if sold from a dealer) have been made. For example, packing the wheel bearings - you would not know this on simple inspection. Including labor his cost over $2000.
3. This model came with 2 inside sliding doors which we have REMOVED. We're being upfront about that because we believe you would have had to as well. In our opinion the sliding door was a flawed design: when the trailer travels over irregular surfaces, the torsion is too much. As a result, constant repairs were needed. If privacy were a concern (it was not for us) it would be simple to install curtains.
4. The slideouts have been completely serviced. You won't find out if this is needed until you have problems.

In summary, the advantage of this used, pre-pandemic unit is that we (and the previous owners ) have worked out all the perceivable flaws and issues that tend to emerge with any new RV.
