Description
Cult classic Safari Trek located in storage near Georgetown Texas.
New tires with less than 50 miles, fresh tune-up, gas tank removed and cleaned, runs great. These Treks have aircraft aluminum bodies and real paint jobs (not stickers). Majic Bed stows on the ceiling of the living area and is lowered by motor for sleep. This makes space for a full bath and shower. Bath, kitchen floors are oak; cabinets are real wood. Plenty of closet space and kitchen storgage. Fridge is electric or propane. An after-market sway bar was installed to improve interstate stabilzation when large vehicles pass. Solar panels; coach batteries replaced around 2017. This motor home was stored in June 2021 near Georgetown, TX but has been started and driven regularly. Selling at a good price because of some known issues: AC unit may need to be replaced. It was not working when parked and problem is unknown. Furnance condition is unknown, but has worked previously. Toilet water line is broken and needs replacement at unit entry. Water heater and fridge worked when rig was parked. Majic bed also worked when parked, but would not lower last time it was checked - this is likely a fuse. Engine/cab AC does not work. The roof has some leaks if water left standing - some damage/stains to ceiling carpet. The body is generally good, with one storage door damaged, but closable. A rear panel after-market decal is faded. The automatic door step is not working right - likely and electrical issue. The generator turns over but is a hard start - likely needs a tuneup. Overall the motor home looks good and drives very good. It has some power and can cruise at highway speeds. Transmission shifts strong.
