Description

For sale: 2017 Winnebago Era 70X 4x4 Camper Van / RV / Motorhome built on a 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 chassis. We purchased this beauty used in 2020 with 27K miles on it, and added 24K miles ourselves having adventures both on long cross-country roadtrips (so easy with the self-contained unit!) and closer to home visiting campgrounds in the PNW. We're selling as we've shifted more toward local camping and boondocking excursions rather than roadtripping, so looking for a towable RV with a little more sleeping capacity so we can bring friends and family along. To read more about the 2017 Winnebago Era 70X 4x4 as originally built/equiped from the factory, please check out: https://www.winnebago.com/Files/Images/Winnebago/brochures/2017/2017-era-digital.x.pdf and see pictures for specific options equipped.

The following aftermarket upgrades were added to the vehicle and are included in the sale: Agile Off-Road Ride Improvement Kit Suspension Upgrade (2" additional lift, makes driving in windy conditions a breeze, ~$5K installed), Owl Vans B2 Bike+Box Carrier with Large Box (mounted rear right) with 2x 1-up USA bike mount trays, Owl Vans Ladder + Tire Carrier w/Large Storage Box (mounted rear left), Weboost RV Cellular/LTE booster with roof mounted antenna, Cabbunk Double-Bunk Camper Van Bed, A/T Tires - upsized from stock to max size.

Listing a few of our favorite features:
1) Comfortable seating for 4 for long road trips. The 70x model features 2 front seats, 2 mid captains chairs (child seat friendly), and a rear bench seat that fits an additional 3 people in a pinch. The rear seat was great for travelling with our dogs.

2) Kitchen with plenty of counter space and plenty of cabinet space to carry supplies. We'd frequently pull off to get gas, stretch legs, and whip together a quick meal in the RV. Capacity is sufficient for a family of 4 to carry a long-weekend's worth of pantry / fresh food onboard. Refrigerator can run on propane so it's capable of keeping things cool without being plugged in.

3) The Owl boxes. They serve as "the garage" - think recreational items, tools, power/water hookup items.

4) 4x4! It's a rare feature for a camper van / class B RV, and it's great piece of mind in snow or on muddy/rocky forest roads.
