Description

SOLD, SOLD, SOLD. Selling our 2012 Sunseeker 2250 that we bought in 2016 and our 2013 Honda CR-V toad with 126K miles on it. We’ve taken this RV all over the western US and into the Canadian Rockies but we haven’t used it much in the last year or so and so it is time to sell. I really want to sell them together and am offering them both for $36,000. Low blue book on the RV is about 26 and low blue book on the CRV is over 12 so you’re saving $2,000 that doesn’t include the extras I’m throwing in: Blue Ox Tow Bar with all the cables and hook ups
Patriot 2 supplemental brake system
Progressive EMS
30 to 15 adapter, plug in at home
Windshield cover
Tire covers
TMPS sensors and monitor
Various other bits and pieces (sewer hose, potable water hose, filter, etc.)

The good: Easy to drive 24 footer with a single slide. The slide has a folding queen size bed in it and is easier to make than one of those corner beds and no one has to crawl over their mate to get out. There is no bed over the cab, instead it has an entertainment system. The dinette can be used as a bed. We rarely use it as a table and instead use it as a lounge while watching the 40” flat screen TV and I will throw in the stereo and blu-ray player. There are 3 way auto stereo speakers alongside the TV as the sound from the TV is horrible. Everything works as they should. Microwave, 3 burner stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer, furnace, AC, plumbing and lights. Low mileage, about 35K, well maintained.

The bad: Tires have only 25K on them but will be 7 years old in the spring. Your choice to change or not. Awning could use new fabric. One small soft spot appeared in the roof this spring. I bought this in 2016 and in 2017 I put Eternabond tape on all joints and openings in the roof. Never had a problem. But I think that either the 3inches of rain we got one day in May or perhaps a bit of water found its way under the tape this winter and the freeze/thaw cycles got to it. The spot is about 8” square, maybe less, where the wall/front cap and roof all meet on driver’s side. I could not find any mold and I have added self leveling dicor to both front corners. I do not see any evidence of it leaking since.

The ugly: the vinyl decals are faded and cracked. I’ve tried a lot of different protectants but I just don’t think the vinyl can stand up to the sun for 10 or 11 years. It has been stored outdoors since we bought it.
