Heart to Heart International, a Kansas City based not for profit organization providing medical services and supplies worldwide, is selling its 2006 Mobile Medical Unit. Heart to Heart International’s (HHI) Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) has been used for disaster response throughout the United States. The unit is 45’ long, 13’ 6” tall, 40,000 lb diesel truck with three slide outs, (right, left and rear), right and left side awnings, bathroom, shower, kitchen, significant countertop, and cabinet space, rubber coin floor, and a passthrough from the cab to the house. Fully extended, the unit requires a minimum footprint of 50’ long, 30’ wide with a height clearance of 14’. The Freightliner truck is a diesel (non-DEF) engine is in excellent condition, and the truck has fewer than 100,000 miles. The cab is very comfortable with an air ride seat for the driver and a swivel seat for the passenger. While the vehicle has been used to provide medical services to thousands of survivors of disasters throughout the United States, it could be transformed into a custom RV. The vehicle has never been in an accident. All cargo bin doors were rebuilt in 2019. The vehicle has undergone regular maintenance in order to immediately respond to disasters. We acquired a new vehicle in 2023 to better serve patients and no longer requires the service of the 2006 Freightliner.
