This 2021.5 mid-year model Plateau TS upgrade by Pleasure-Way essentially became the 2022 model. New upgrades included a Truma Varioheat Furnace, Induction Stove, Radius Cabinets with Blum Cabinet Door Stays, a “waterfall edge” countertop, and two 10-inch Touchscreen Spyder Control Panels displaying state of lithium battery charge, battery temperature, estimated DC power runtime, etc. It also has all the options then-offered by Pleasure-Way (Rear and Side Roll-Up screens, Go-Power 300-watt solar, exterior painted side moldings, and Alcoa Dura-Bright Aluminum Wheels). Everything in the RV works as it should! The Norcold 6 cu ft refrigerator kept ice blocks, used for pre-cooling, frozen throughout a recent 15-day trip and the fridge worked perfectly. The Winegard HDTV antenna most always brings in HD channels without having to hook up cable. In cool weather the Varioheat ducted furnace rapidly answers the called-for temperature. The Mercedes Benz 3500XD Sprinter has nothing missing due to supply shortages at the time of production. Navigation maps are updated. The local MB dealer takes care of all scheduled services and MB recalls and has a service bay dedicated to Sprinters. Careful upkeep and maintenance are the watchwords for this motorhome’s care. Except for when being enjoyed on trips, it is kept in a fully enclosed garage, with regular attention paid to tire pressure, alignments, generator exercises under load, vehicle fluids, and battery health to name a few. Upgrades have enhanced this motorhome including SumoSprings installed front and rear enabling improved vehicle handling, aux battery shelf in the engine compartment for storage of air pump or tools, installation of an Intelligent RV Water Pump Controller that modulates pump motor speed to smoothly and quietly deliver fresh water, professional rerouting and welding of the Onan generator exhaust to gain added ground clearance, and the sliding side door vent window has a Pikavo security panel installed to protect from attempts to unlock the door via the vent window (the latter three enhancements have photos). The motorhome electrical system has always been protected by a Progressive EMS used at the campsite power pedestal, and water plumbing has never been hooked up to campground water pressures. This Plateau has not been in an accident or weather-related incident. It has been enjoyed by two adults only, no smokers, pets, or children.
