- We purchased our Damon Astoria in 2013 with 23,000 miles and began making it very comfortable for 2 retiree’s to explore the USA in comfort living aboard full time.

Improvements we’ve made: Both obsolete TV’s are now h 32” HDTV’s connected to RV antenna or cable TV. Frequently used lights are now LED’s. Vinyl plank flooring replaced all the carpeting except for the bedroom. 2 “Wall Hugger” recliners with folding tables replaced the uncomfortable sofa. Dinette area converts to a bed and now has 2 storage drawers. Roof ACs were replaced. Microwave, 3 burner propane range & oven upgraded. . Kitchen sink upgraded to stainless steel. Toilet upgraded to a slightly taller, more efficient model. Fogged dual pane windows in the living area replaced with single pane windows. -
Window shades have dark or translucent options. Driver and passenger sun visors are powered shades. Large outside awning is powered. Door awning and awning over the dinette window are manual. A Corian insert covers the range burners for additional counter space. - Chassis equipped with tow receiver and trailer brake controls. We towed a Chevy Cruse and didn’t see any change in performance on hills. Body has a few minor scratches, paint defects, and upholstery needs work. AM/FM radio isn’t connected to overhead speakers. Roof has an operational .Winegard DIRECTV antenna ready for connection to a DIRECTV Receiver supplied with a subscription.

Not shown but included in the sale are a front windshield black sunshade/privacy screen, a 6 x 8’ ground cloth, a Damon rear ladder extension ladder and a 6’ utility ladder.
We’ve enjoyed our 28.000 miles of exploring, and living aboard full time. We’ve reached our mid 80’s, and our traveling days by RV are over.
