This 2019 40IH Tiffin Phaeton is a stylish home on shiny wheels. The engine is a reliable Cummins I6 upgraded to 450 HP. There are four slide outs all of which operate smoothly. Lighting is all LED featuring beautiful sconces and task lighting. This coach includes a galley shade which is great for admiring the scenery while cooking on the induction stove top. Above the stove top is an induction microwave. A residential refrigerator with an ice maker is next to a spacious slide out pantry. Entertainment is one of many luxuries in the coach. A “televator” TV with surround sound waits for you after a long day of travel. Additional TVs are over the driver/passenger area, in the bedroom, and outside. The outside TV also includes a soundbar.
The bedroom features a comfortable king size bed with nightstands, ceiling fan, and under-dresser lighting. The spacious master bath includes a large shower which offers refreshing hot water on demand with the recently serviced Aqua-Hot 450D. The twin sinks comfortably accommodate two at a time. The rear bath includes a macerator toilet and, like the half bath, is porcelain.
As is the case with most diesel class A motorcoaches, there is plenty of storage throughout the coach, both inside and out. Mechanically, the coach is sound and a pleasure to drive. Semi trucks don’t push the coach around and it cruises comfortably and safely with a Mobileye Collision Avoidance System. Tires have little to no wear and are regularly checked for correct tire pressure. Fluids are kept at proper limits. All air and hydraulic systems are fully operational with no issues. The coach has new AGM batteries for the "house" side as well as new chassis batteries courtesy of Cummins. The coach is stored in a fully enclosed garage and cleaned after every trip.
We tow a 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth with brakes controlled by the coach’s pneumatic air system. We will consider selling it as well.
This is a beautiful coach. The only reason we are selling it is to move on to something a little different as we contemplate retirement.
