With bunk beds and the capacity to sleep up to 10 people and lots of storage inside and out, the Coachmen Freelander 32BH is a great family RV. It’s built on the Ford E450 with a 6.8L V10 engine. This chassis is also used for commercial applications which often run well over 300K miles. This RV runs and drives great!

You can’t really compare this Class C to most others on the market around the same age. It’s the personal RV for a professional RV technician who has meticulously maintained it and made many upgrades in recent years. Here are some of the upgrades by year:

2020: New EPDM roof (due to minor mishap with a tree branch), new power awning, new slide topper

2021: New starting battery, new tire pressure monitoring system, new memory foam mattress

In addition to driver and passenger seat belts, the dinette has seat belts for 4 and the couch has seat belts for 3. Three anchors have been added in the dinette area for rear car seat tethers. This motorhome is about as kid travel friendly as you can find.

No smoking, no pets, and constant use of a dehumidifier mean no unpleasant odors.
