Power systems: 300 amp hours (Ah) of Renogy LifePo batteries (3 x 100 Ah) and 1200 watts of solar panels (Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150V/70amp) provide you with off-the-grid power for boondocking. The Multiplus Compact 12/2000/80-50 120V is hardwired into the RV’s AC breaker panel, and the RV transfer switch is wired into the Multiplus, offering seamless 120V power from shore power, or generator, or batteries. The Multiplus also will combine whatever power sources you have so that you can run the RV air conditioner even when moochdocking using just a normal 15 amp house plug to connect to shore power. The power system can be monitored with the Victron SmartShunt 500A/50mV and Victron Cerbo GX either via Bluetooth or online via Victron’s VRM portal. Combine the included cellular antenna (Pepwave PUMA 421 - 4x4 MIMO 5G ready cellular antenna system with your own cellular router, and your mobile office is complete.
The mini-split is 12v powered and is around 8000 BTU.
When the A/C is on full it can pull up to 50 amps (12V), but once cooler in the RV it will drop to 18-30amps. If the bedroom door is kept closed and temp set to around 75, it will run all night and use about 50% of the battery.
