1996 Blue Bird BMC 40 foot. Brand new tires, brand new coach and chassis batteries. Third owner. Maintained by Coach Craft (Blue BIrd experts) of Columbus Georgia. Aqua Hot serviced in May of 2022. Oil change and generator oil change at the same time. Full chassis lubrication and inspection also done. LP tank topped off. Coach is ready for the road to go anywhere.
Custom viewing deck installed with custom hinged railings that collapse for travel. Perfect for viewing sporting or racing events.
Cummins M11 motor has the chip upgrade providing 400 HP. Spartan chassis.
Rear jacks had welding reinforcement done by Coachcraft to eliminate an inherent weakness in the BMC jack system.
All systems in the bus are fully operational. Three roof AC units work well and aqua hot provides perfectly heated water
and heat.
Rotating satellite dish connected to Directv system provides clear signal to two televisions: one in the living room and the other in the bedroom. Multi channel Samsung surround system installed. Coach also has receiver hitch and trailer brake installed. Bus has plenty of power to pull most any type of trailer.
Finishes in the bus are in very good to excellent condition. The leather on the drivers and passenger seat had been recovered 10 years ago and show some signs of wear. I installed custom made sheepskin covers for both seats. They are very comfortable and look great. Washer and dryer are fully functioning as well as the fantastic fan. Microwave works well along with the four burner stove. Storage excellent in the living room, kitchen and bedroom for long trips. Dometic refrigerator /freezer works perfectly, being able to operate off of AC power, LP, or DC.
Stowage underneath is superior to most other Class A RVs. Four cargo area sliding trays make loading and unloading a breeze.
Generator is a 15,000 watt Isuzu powered unit providing ample power for all systems.
I am the third owner having owned the coach since 2014. My friend was the prior owner having purchased it from the original owner. The coach has always been stored indoors in a heated/ventilated environment on a constant charge.
The only reason I am selling it is I have found a Blue Bird LXi that I would like to purchase.
