Description

UNDER A COMPREHENSIVE BUMBER-To-BUMPER WARRANTY FOR 20 MORE MONTHS! EVERYTHING is covered for a $100 deductible. See below.

FOR SALE: 2010 Thor Chateau 23S motorhome on the Dodge [MERCEDES] Sprinter 3500 chassis. 3.0 Liter V-6 DIESEL ENGINE.

All the great stuff:

  • Motor has only 73K original miles
  • Cummins Onan RV QG 3600 LP on-board, remote start generator has less than 600 hours. Sale includes an OEM tune-up kit.
  • 150-point inspection of the chassis by Mercedes dealership recently performed, no issues reported. All maintenance records such as these are included.
  • The entire motorhome is covered by a robust extended warranty until June 30, 2024 (one year, eight months left).
    • I purchased the four-year warranty on 06/30/2020 for $5400
    • Warranty is transferrable to new owner for a $50 fee
    • Warranty covers EVERYTHING for a $100 deductible: diesel engine, chassis, coach and all components; refrigerator, generator, air conditioning unit, etc.)
  • Awning fabric was replaced last week, it is brand new.
  • Four of the six tires are new
  • The roof was re-sealed last week
  • The two coach batteries were replaced roughly 18 months ago
  • Aftermarket on-board inverter installed
Stuff to mention:
  • Some remodeling has been done to the interior to include a larger, better-built shower
  • The remodeling process removed the rear, side bed and the exterior storage space underneath became interior square footage
  • Some of the architectural finished touches are unfinished but do not affect functionality
  • The headlights on the chassis are old and the plastic covers are hazed. I purchased two brand-new entire headlight assemblies ($120 each), but I’ve not installed them. They will be included with the sale. There are plenty of YouTube videos that feature DIY instructions for replacing them.
The not so good stuff:
  • The automatic extending and retracting entry steps aren’t functioning. Sale will include two loose entry steps that can be placed outside the door for more stable entrance. Also included is the replacement motor for the step.
  • The passenger side mirror on the chassis needs work. The mirror smacked another mirror on a truck that was parked too far away from a curb. Mercedes checked out the damage and said all I needed was the replacement mirrors that attach to the entire side mirror assembly. I purchased them and couldn’t get them to attach to the unit. Currently, the top mirror is held in place with bungee cords, the bottom mirror is still in the original packaging and needs to be installed.
