Selling our 2015 all aluminum trailer. This was converted from a horse trailer with living quarters. We kept the living quarters, and converted the horse area to a spacious master bedroom using residential grade materials.
We specifically chose a horse trailer because of its reputation of exceptional structural integrity and the fact that it is built with higher tier materials than a conventional RV or Trailer. As full-timers, we were not impressed with the quality of trailer on the market.
Consider that it was designed to hold and safely haul very large horses.
Another thing to note is the single piece aluminum roof, which is beyond compare to the rubber roofs out there on most other travel trailer.
We intended for this trailer to last until retirement age This trailer has a gooseneck hitch, which is a great system because you are able to hook up at any angle and lower the hitch down on the pin.
As previous full-timers, we personally did not enjoy hooking up and unhooking our old 5th wheel hitch. This trailer is very spacious with an open floor plan and well thought out kitchen. There is bar style seating, and a dinette with a storage bench as well. The deep pull out pantry has great storage for your food.
There is a brand new sleeper style couch that sits next to an electric fireplace, and television.
Up the stairs is a large sleeping loft area with a television and plenty of storage.
The spacious master bedroom feels like a getaway.
The bed has been designed so there is room for ample storage underneath. Around the beds perimeter, there is additional cube storage, and a moveable headboard. You are able to orient the headboard from one side or the other. The master is also plumbed for a washer. There is a massive storage area on the top of the rear of the trailer. There is also a generator that lives up there. On the drivers’ side there are locking bays where you can store your hoses and various tools.
