Description

Making dynamic use of the limited space in a Sprinter van, this Road Chalet maximizes comfort, utility, and functional design. Built by Beartooth Vanworks, a reputable custom van builder out of Montana. The Road Chalet provides the perfect solution for the long term van life seeker. Robust amenities ensure you’ve got everything you need to be comfortable for an extended stay in the backcountry. A convertible couch turns into double Queen sized beds. At the end of a long day, simply adjust the front bench into your bed and get ready for a comfortable night’s sleep. Make no sacrifice in the kitchen with fridge, sink, and diesel cooktop. This van features a SmartFloor system to allow for extra belted passengers inside the van while traveling. The upgraded suspension, off market tires, auxiliary gas tank and inverter truly enable this van to perform off the grid in the backcountry. Exterior upgrades include BTV custom nerf bars and roof rack, Backwood Adventure Mods rear bumper, front bumper, and exterior lighting. The Van is built to be modular making this van mulit-functional. Everything except for the kitchen galley can be removed to allow for hauling of cargo and/or transitioning to a crew van. The second + third passenger seats are removable and use SmartFloor systems, making these seats road safe (collision tested by Mercedes). Upgraded leather Scheel-Mann seats (x4). Wool upholstery on bed (easy to clean and durable). Knotty Pine paneling on the ceiling and walnut for galley top, accents and trim throughout van. Faux leather vinyl wall paneling for easy cleaning, durability, softness and style. Leather upholstery throughout–Stylish upholstery selections to bring the Chalet vibe to life. Snap window covers with black-out backing and stylish upholstery. Shower off the back of the van with snap on curtain (connects to back doors). Portable, cassette toilet. If not wanted, this toilet can be totally removed. L-track throughout the van. Also known as logistical track, is a versatile tie down system of aluminum rails and fittings to secure cargo. It is used in aircraft to restrain cargo or seats, and is also widely used in the ground transportation industry. This can be used to secure any type of recreational cargo while on the move. The only thing not upgraded in the van was the speaker system. This was a personal choice because portable speakers are so advanced now and always advancing so it seemed better to not wire for a permanent system.
