This 1998 Pleasureway was extensively renovated for a 9000 mile bucket list trip to the Arctic Ocean to make it reliable, comfortable, easy to drive, and tough enough for the 1100 mile round trip on the unpaved Dempster Highway. Undercarriage improvements included a complete front end rebuild, all new springs, Bilstein shock absorbers, bearing steel rear wheel extenders, Michelin XPS Traction tires off-road tires, and replacement of Firestone RiteAid air suspension system. All mechanical systems were thoroughly inspected and serviced, all hoses and belts replaced, brake system rebuilt. Interior improvements included reupholstering the front seats, bed cushions, and door panels, replacing the bed cushions with a high density/memory foam sandwich, new cloud and sky curtains, cork flooring, recarpeted cockpit, sound deadening insulation, new receiver and speakers, LCD TV, and new microwave oven. ALL RV systems functional: generator, rooftop AC, furnace, hot water heater, water pump, toilet, shower, microwave, stove, 12v compressor refrigerator, fantastic fan.
