2018 Ford Transit 350 4 passenger low top camper conversion. 3.7l V6 94,000 miles. 20 foot length. Rear auxiliary heat and A/C, 100w solar panel with converter with one battery and space for two under the driver seat and space for additional batteries in the rear. The rear bed folds into a couch with a walkway storage cubbies and two drawers. The bed is 74" x 57". The rear bed space is constructed using strong, lightweight steel and wood. The floors are a durable rubber that's pretty easy to clean and water proof. The wall separating the rear is built allowing the factory airbags to be operational in the event of an accident. There is three layers insulation, water, sound, fire and temperature.
We recently took a trip to Colorado and it got down to 17*, we slept through the night comfortably and didn't have to turn on the heat until the next morning after we opened the doors. And it's and extremely quite ride.
The van is about 500lbs lighter than it was factory due to the original seats and hardware weighing an insane 800lbs! So even with all our things loaded up for long trips it gets good fuel economy and handles like a car. I have been able to get up to 23 to 25 mpg and average around 17 to 18. it also does extremely well off road and has never left us stranded. The low top and simple exterior draw little to no attention when camping and can even fit through the automatic car wash!
Also there is enough room to fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood standing up or a kayak in the walkway.
Hate to sale this van but we are growing to a family of 5 and need something bigger now ASAP so it must go.
