We are parting with our 2005 Jayco 28G Escapade that we have renovated to be our cozy home away from home. You can be the fortunate recipient of a lot of labor, TLC and expenses put into making this a dependable and comfortable RV. It has low mileage of less than 23,000 and we had a mechanic go through it with a fine-toothed comb to help with any mechanical updates it may need in order to be a step ahead of depreciation. Because of this it has a lot of years usage ahead.
We have replaced the flooring, faucets, toilet, hot water tank, fantastic fan, steering gear, tires, bushings, ball joints, battery, ducting, door lock, window treatment, wall coverings, speakers, upholstery (including all cushion foam), full queen quality mattress. We also added a Furion 7” backup camera as well as a Sony bluetooth radio for hands free communication. The original refrigerator, stove, burners, fans, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, generator and sensors are all in good working order.
You may ask why we are parting with it after all this work…it is because my husband wants to go compact. We will miss an abundance of storage that comes with this motorhome. It also sleeps 4 adults and 4 children (or 6 adults), has no slides to allow for comfortable usage at any point of your travel.
