Description

I’m going to be a Grandma! I just purchased a 2nd home closer to my family and have decided to sell my 2002 Rialta QD. I bought it just over a year ago and put about 10,000 miles on it. I loved every one of them!!! This listing assumes you are familiar with the Rialta QD layout (companion seats that fold into a be behind the drivers seat) and all the wonderful things about the Rialta in general.Details and comments:•2018 Valve timing chain serviced including new chain, guides, tensioner and engine and transaxle seals•2018 Brake Service including new front calipers and rotor and front and rear pads. 2020 back brakes replace•2018 Transaxle/Transmission service with new filter and fluids•2018 The TV antenna was upgraded to a Winegard HDTV antenna•All the coach task lighting has been replaced with LED bulbs to help preserve the battery charge. The coach batters are about 2 years old.•2017 four new All Season tires•2019 Cooling fan and radiator replaced. Flushed and refilled with VW coolant•2019 Radio upgraded to Pioneer DEH-8800BHS with CD player and Bluetooth•2019 Additional USB connections for charging device.•I removed the companion seats because I found that I preferred having more space. I was ignorant about the rust issues with the Rialtas in general. This vehicle was not road worthy when I bought it as the rear driver side wheel well was so rusted out the shock was not even connected to anything. I can’t believe the previous owner let me drive away knowing that. This has been completely repaired. There is rust underneath but nothing that requires repair.•I replaced the flooring. Since I am not a professional I was cautious about over gluing, something I had read about. Someone handier could probably secure it better but it looks great and stays put so it can be left alone. •I took all the cabinet doors down and painted to update the yellowing that naturally happens over time. I intended to hand paint the rest next summer but will not get to it. It looks so much better now.•The previous owner also failed to tell me about leaks in the skylight and fan. I have sealed them up but the headliner looks awful from the staining. I was going to re-do it next summer but will leave it for the next owner. •My two favorite things about the Rialta is the size and the WINDOWS. Every view is a panoramic view. You just don’t get that in other models.•Sorry about the pictures, they aren’t very professional.
