Description

1997 Chinook Concourse 2100 SOLD - NEW Triton V10 fuel injected engine.New suspension and brakes,New paint,New Interior. Engine replaced with a factory ford remanufactured engine in April 2020. There are 3,700 miles on this engine with 18 months remaining on the original 36 month factory warrantee. New Suspension including Firestone Air Suspension, Hellwig heavy duty front sway bar,Ball Joints,Breaks,Bearings, and Rotors installed in June 2020. This Class C handles great with towing capacity of 5,000 lbs. You can pull through mountain passes at 65 miles per hour without the engine struggling. Very stable on windy roads with little sway. The interior was remodeled in 2020 with new Hardwood laminate floors, Matching Charcoal JackKnife sofa and Dinette, upgraded entertainment system. The exterior is an 8 out of 10 with freshly buffed gel coat and New Blue painted stripes that are the original classic exterior trim package. The tires and wheels add to the exterior beauty with new chrome beauty rims and tires. My wife and I love this Motorhome. We wanted something small enough to get through all the tight national park scenic roads but not sacrifice any of the comforts of a larger motorhome. My wife loves to cook in the fully equipped kitchen in our Chinook with an oven that has allowed her to make pot roast and even a small turkey for a Christmas dinner in Palm Springs one year. We watch Netflix and Disney + on our new entertainment system. During Covid last year when restaurants were not allowing indoor dining we would drive the Chinook to restaurants, get takeout and eat in the Chinook at the dinette. This RV comes with every option Chinook offered in 1997 including Solar Panels, Onan Generator, and three batteries. The only limitation we have found is you have to put down the very comfortable couch and turn it into a bed in the evening. I call it a 3 passenger because we take out grand daughter with us and she sleeps in the dinette bed while we sleep on the JackKnife sofa. The only reason we are selling this unit is because we just purchased a 24ft Sprinter that has a dedicated bed. If I had the room I would keep both RV's to have the Chinook for the shorter trips to the Oregon coast as it fits into the smallest park sites at 21feet long. I've fixed or replaced almost everything its like having a new Motorhome. Call and I'll fill you in on all your questions.
