2008 Mercedes (Dodge) Sprinter 2500 in rare factory Red! We live in the High-Rockies and drive it every day.Sun/Rain/Snow. It is 2WD (4x4 came out in 2016) that performs great in snow. Fedex has been using these 2WD Sprinters for many years in the mountains. We bought it 3 years ago and its been an amazing van! Built it out for 4-season camping/off-grid excursions and sleeps 2-4 people depending on what you are hauling inside. The bottom/garage area can accommodate another mattress or your bikes, skis, etc. I over-maintained it seeing we did not ever want to be stranded. If it needed something, I performed the service. We’ve camped on BLM and more! Awesome Rig! Clean Carfax showing LOTS of service from day 1. 2 keys and original owners manuals. Underside was spotless when we purchased so we had it undercoated immediately at that time and also did rust proofing (the oil they spray in the doors, panels, etc) and it is in great shape and looks great! Black matte vinyl on the hood and upper cab for protection and the look. We did LED round red lights on a custom Rhino-Lined Brush Guard up front. This has a hitch and arear ladder to make accessing the roof easy. We had a full set of custom thinsulate window coverings made to keep the heat in (winter months) and keepit cooler in the summer. OG steel wheels painted black. Maintenance: Miles are currently 248K and we personally know 3 Vans with well over 500K miles. These diesel 6 cylinders are awesome engines with routine maintenance. No CEL lights on and runs/drives GREAT!BFG K02’s about a year old/8K miles ago Full service done regularly. Synthetic changes every 6000 miles. DPF completely cleaned out 2018. New brakes 2019 (rear) and 2020 (fronts). Rebuilt Driveshaft (2019). New Windshield. All fluids have been replaced over the past 3 years. Filters (such as fuel filter, etc) done at correct intervals No leaks. A/C blows ice cold and Heat blows hot. Scan gauge II installed that monitors engine/temps, etc. and reads CEL codes on the fly. Build out: Aux system with Dual 6 volt inline Golf Cart GC2 batteries(about 220 amp hrs), Solar hook up to the AUX system and 80W portable lightweight panel that charges it. Thinsulate and Sound deadening throughout Dual roof fans (1 top of the line MaxxAir fan and 1 manual). Webasto Heater with muffler kit/thermostat. ARB style fridge with thermostat.
