The Grand Design Transcend 27BHS travel trailer is the perfect bunkhouse if you are interested in maximizing interior space but not over doing it with overall length and weight. Dry weight is 6,768 lbs with a GVWR of 7,995 lbs and approx 32'LOA. The Curt Trunnion bar double sway control weight distribution hitch is included. We replaced the five original tires this year (2021) with made in the USA Goodyear Endurance load E rated and speed rated tires. This unit has been meticulously maintained and I have no doubt it is the cleanest and best condition 2019 you will find. With over sized double bunk beds (extra foam padding added), a 60x80" residential queen bed in the private master bedroom (2nd TV in bedroom), plus more sleeping space with the convertible booth dinette you can easily take along extra family members or friends. We opted for the theater seats that recline with heat and massage as well as cool blue LED lighting in the cup holders and below the leg rest that creates a nice ambiance inside with the lights low. A single large slide out provides ample room to move about once extended and when the slide is in you can still reach the table, fridge, pantry, seating, bunks and bathroom (see pics). The kitchen includes a deep seated stainless sink, oven, stove, microwave and fridge. There is an outdoor kitchen with a two burner cook-top and a 1.6 cu. ft. refrigerator. We have never had pets in the trailer and do not smoke. You will also appreciate motion sensor lighting at the entry door as well as within the pass-through storage space and outdoor kitchen area. The Grand Design Transcend is quality construction with a "Strong Wall" satin metal/aluminum exterior that is 25% thicker than the competition for a more durable and better looking finish. It also includes a fully enclosed and heated underbelly (R-9), walls are also R-9. The roof is extra insulated (R-40) and has an interior headroom of 82". You will also enjoy upgraded furnishings, solid wood cabinet doors and drawer fronts, a residential ductless HVAC system, plus E-Z Lift bed storage. It has a roof ladder and walkable roof system. There is a generator mount and improved A-frame storage for gas cans or wheel chocks etc. Generator is available but not included.We have been able to make some of the best memories of our lives thanks to this Transcend but it is time for us to sell and hope the next family that buys this unit will have just as much fun.
