Since no trip can be enjoyed to the fullest in sufferable extreme temperatures, there is a Houghton Belair Caravan 13.500 BTU Rooftop A/C unit (120V) which can fully cool the conversion in less than 15 minutes and a heat pump to warm up those cold winter nights. For off grid we have a maxxfan 7000 with remote control to push and pull air through out the van running on solar.

The electric system consists of 3 100 watt solar panels which provide a charge to the 100 a/h lithum Battleborn battery. I included a 2000 watt inverter (Bluetooth) which converts 12vdc power to 120vac to charge those essentials like your computer, camera and phone. Shore power is available with 2 GFE receptacles under the cabinets and by sliding door storage box. Everything in the conversion (except the A.C. unit) runs on this solar system, freeing you to go off grid for days at a time.
