Description

Great road machine for two people, although it can sleep six in a pinch. This is a step up from those diesel-powered compact motorhomes with lots more power and interior space at only a slight fuel economy penalty. Gas coaches are less expensive to buy and service than diesel; the diesel advantage comes only with more miles than most RVs ever drive. On the other hand, this is one of the smallest coaches on the Ford E-450 chassis. It has the same 305 HP V-10 engine, five-speed automatic transmission and 14,500 pound GVWR as coaches up to 6 feet longer and 2,000 pounds heavier empty weight. This gives it more cargo carrying weight, a heavier tow rating (7,500 pounds), brisker acceleration and better gas mileage than bigger coaches on the same chassis. This particular motorhome is in very good condition. It received new Goodyear tires, a full generator service and new spark plugs two years ago, new coach batteries last year and a new engine battery this year. We also waxed it recently. Everything works perfectly but the radio, which may need to be repaired or replaced. We did not plan to replace this camper, but I am disabled and we stumbled on to a coach of the same brand with a floor plan that better meets our needs.
