If you’re looking for a self-contained (class B) camper van that is easy to drive, easy to hook up, and easy to live in, check out my 2002 Roadtrek 200 Versatile. It’s a perfect home-on-wheels: the kitchen has everything you need – 3-way refrigerator, microwave, and cooktop; the bathroom can be used as both a water closet and a shower; and there is plenty of storage inside and out.
The full-size bed is very comfortable and perfect for a single person or couple. According to the specs, it sleeps 4, but I question the size and the comfort-tolerance of anyone who can sleep on the twin beds made from the captain’s chairs.
You may be wondering why – with so many good things to say about it – I am parting with this marvelous camper van. In truth, I planned to travel with her until one of us could travel no further. But I am going back to school and will have neither the time nor the storage to devote to her. Rather than let her sit idle, I’ve decided to re-home her to someone who will love and enjoy her as much as I have.
