Description

Thank you to everyone who inquired about our Airstream. I got to talk to Airstream fans all over the country. The couple who purchased it are planning on living in it full time as he is in the coast guard and they are tired of moving their belongins every time he is re-assigned. If I had 20 of these I could have sold everyone If I wasn't retiring I would remodel these full time . Again thanks Dave;!!!We are selling our Favorite Camper. We have owned 3 Motorhomes, 2 Travel Trailers and 2 Pop-ups over the last 35 years .This was our favorite overall because there was no stress. We just packed up and went. She was a joy to camp in.I bought it in 2014 from Colonial Airstream in NJ. They installed a new roof ,2 new skylights and updated the AC .The first weekend I owned it I ripped out all the carpet and vinyl flooring, the dinette ,couch ,toilet etc.I
Installed tongue and groove 3/8" prefinished wood floor.Because the Classic model is the only Airstream with wood(Hickory)cabinets I built an L-shaped Lounge with large drawers underneath and a Large Cabinet with 2 large slideout Drawers and full size Trash Slideout all done in Hickory.Had Custom cushions made for the Lounge.New Porcelain toilet,New sleep# Queen mattress. My wife re-did all the window trims.I just installed 4 brand new tires.
It's the only airstream model with disc brakes. Installed a Stainless Steel out door shower. The fridge is the best working one I've ever had in any camper(keeps ice cream frozen). Changed batteries to 2 (125 amp hour each) Has a Hensley Arrow tow system which in a long camper makes it so much easier to turn and backup and more stable on the highway.
It also has 2 Vizio Tvs, 4ft cedar closet,Convection Micro,3 burner stovetop,2 Aluminum 30lb Propane tanks with
gauges,2 outside storage compartments, Full length awning, 4 leveling jacks and assorted accessories.
We are retiring and traveling full time and decided to go back to a motorhome. We hope we don't regret selling her.
