Known as the “Famous Bus”

This special Prevost was originally Custom built by Marathon Coaches for race car driver Rusty Wallace and sponsored by Interstate Battery at an original cost of $750k. Later in its life  in 2006 it was featured in the movie “Man of the Year” with Robin Williams and Christopher Walken. After Robins passing the bus was sold by the Estate to a dear friend in Oregon where it was going to be part of a Limo business that never materialized. Over the past two years thousands and thousands of dollars were invested into 8 new tires. 9 new batteries, a complete rebuild on the huge diesel generator and a upper end rebuild on the Detroit  8V 92 motor.

The bus runs down the road nicely and can certainly made into anything your imagination can think of. I purchased it last year as another toy of mine.. but now realizing too many toys and not enough time. It’s being offered for my cost of $31,500. Of ours it’s not a new bus but certainly has tremendous potential. I have lots of receipts and manuals for repairs to back up what is mentioned in this ad.
