Description

This motorhome is in excellent condition, and has almost every possible upgrade, including King size Sleep Number bed, a Queen size electrically operated Sofa Bed, plus the dining table and bench seats converts to a third bed which could sleep 2 children. A large desk has been installed, including a 2 drawer filing cabinet, a pull-out keyboard shelf, and two twin power outlets. Fuel economy is remarkable! Official tests report 9.5 mpg, but on long Interstate journeys at 55 mph I have recorded 12 mpg. The motorhome is equipped with automatic self-leveling jacks, electric steps, electric awnings, power driver's seat, 4-door electric or propane fridge-freezer with automatic ice maker, twin central air conditioning heat pumps in the basement, 2 kW inverter, gas and smoke detectors, and 5 batteries. The original DVD player has been updated to a Blu-Ray Surround Sound system, and there are 3 radio/CD players, a 37 inch LCD television and a 32 inch LCD TV in the bedroom. There are two automatic closing extract fans, a solar panel for keeping the batteries charged, and an automatic 8 kW diesel generator. The engine is a powerful 350 hp Cummins diesel, with cruise control, and the transmission is a 6 speed Allison automatic. There is a 3 camera CCTV system for backing up or checking left and right turns. The manufacturer's list price was $226,622 (new 2020 models are in the range $290K to $380K), and the NADA Guides Average Retail Price is $100,050. I am asking $10,100 less than that, plus you will save a further $8,000 or more on sales tax (see below), depending on where you live. Please note that this is listed as a 2008 model year, first registered in July 2009, BUT it is identical to the 2009 model. This motorhome is registered in the name of a Limited Liability Company in Montana, and I will be selling the company along with its sole asset, the Itasca Meridian. There will therefore be no sales tax (or whatever your state levies) on this transaction. My reason for selling is that my wife and I have stopped full-timing, and want to downsize to a 26ft or thereabouts motorhome for vacation use. I would therefore consider taking a smaller vehicle in part-exchange. I would also consider private financing for a suitably qualified buyer.
