The Winnebago ERA series of class B Motorhomes is based on the Mercedes Sprinter chassis, with the ERA-C model being unique in multiple important details.

First, unlike the vast majority of class B's, the ERA-C has a slideout via what would be the driver side sliding door in the sprinter van, which maintains structural integrity of the Mercedes factory chassis, but allows for significant interior space. The result is a vehicle no wider, and only slightly longer, than a full size pickup truck. In other words, this RV drives well in traffic, can frequently be parked in a standard parking space, and is allowed in many campsites that otherwise wouldn't allow a larger RV. Despite the convenient size, the slideout allows for a spacious living area for two.

The second unique feature of this particular model is the dry bath with an enclosed shower. There are very few Sprinter sized class B's with a dry bath, and this makes for a much better all around experience.

The ERA-C includes the Mercedes 3500 chassis, their most heavy duty made for Sprinters, and includes dual rear wheels for stability and safety, and the standard 5000 lb towing capicity.
