ABOUT BIG BERTHA

This 30' diesel RV (I named her "Big Bertha") is built like a tank on a Ford E350 chassis. Could be the perfect "tiny home" or addition to a camp ground, as well as a rugged and reliable travel vehicle. Less than 50,000 miles on the odometer! The engine is one of the best Ford ever made and will go 500,000 miles without a rebuild. Everythingg underneath is heavy duty, from transmission to leaf springs and suspension. I had the overhang (dog house) rebuilt and the furnace removed. Replaced it with a Buddy propane heater plumbed directly into the propane tank. All new tires, including the spare and with less than 1,000 miles on them! New hubcaps, new front grille and new headlights. Refrigerator, stove, burners, microwave, shower, sink all work fine. I had front brake work done, then had the entire underbody sprayed with a corrosion resistant coating. I had the bathroom capped off since God knows what was in the black water tank after all those years . lol. Repaneled the bathroom and put in Amazon's most popular portable composting camp toilet that is odorless, comfy for all size "bottoms" and works great, with no liquid or solid separation. Just use a heavy duty plastic bag and some kitty litter and you're good to go. Removed the double bed in the back and replaced it with a luxury memory foam twin mattress sitting on lightweight plastic shelving (adds great underbed storage) that is easy to move around. You could easily put a second twin bed in the back and sleep two! Cassette deck works great as I proved with an old Zeppelin tape. She passed inspection with flying colors in both 2017 (when I bought her) and 2018 (certificates available). Selling only because I'm in an apartment now and nowhere to park her.
