We are selling our beloved Shack to get a trailer. We got her in Jan 2018 and have taken her across country 4 times. Great in all kinds of conditions - snow, big wind, rain.

A few things you can’t get from the specs. First, we love this rig (our first RV!) - here’s a few reasons why:

• The size. We could take it places in nature many Class A RVs can’t go since often there is a ‘less than 25 ft’ restriction. Can park easily - two spots in a parking lot and even on the street.
• The layout - We love the fact that the bathroom doors open to create two 'rooms' - we can each have our privacy or just not disturb the person sleeping. We use the small table in front of the couch instead of the long bench table along with a lightweight folding table (stored during travel in the bathroom). This keeps the main space feeling spacious while still giving us plenty of table top space.
• Comfort. The seats are really comfortable. Heating, cooling, vent fans work well. Enough space for 2 adults easily.
• Driveability/maneuverability. Easy to handle on winding or wet roads. We both drove it.
• While some may prefer the two twin config, we love the spaciousness of the King. We did have the cushions restuffed with firmer, hi quality foam which greatly increased the comfort. We also added a memory foam topper (happy to include).
• Tons of storage space
• Decent gas mileage - ranged 8-12 mpg - averaged 10 on our cross country trips.

Things we did:

• House Batteries upgraded to Optima AGM.
• Drawer hardware replaced
• Added handle to screen door
• Magnetic strips for spice jars and knives
• Removed the inside wall mirror, added hooks
• Shower sealing replaced
• Installed LED headlights
• We put enough miles on it to know it is a solid vehicle!
