2021 is bringing some serious changes to the Sportsman Edition. First off is the name. To reflect the significant upgrades to the Sportsman, all 2021 models have been renamed the Sportsman Plus.

When you step into a Sportsman Plus, the first thing that you will notice is the upgraded dinette. The seating for the dinette comes standard with Brown and Light Grey leatherette and the size of the seating in both the 9-6 and 8-11 models has been increased by 9” to an extremely roomy 46”. Not only does this mean that you will have more room when sitting around the table with friends and family, there will also be significantly more room for sleeping when the dinette is converted into a bed!

Along with the upgraded dinette, several additional standard features have been included such as: Two 100 watt solar panels, a 2200 Fantastic Fan, an outside 110 volt plug.

As well as the the standard features there are several new options to customize your Sportsman Plus such as: an optional built in Onan 2500LP generator for the 8-11 models, a second wardrobe in the cabover sleeping area (when you choose this option you will not be able to include a TV), the ability to further upgrade your power to two 185 watt solar panels. Finally, you can also choose to have a wirless back up/security camera installed!

The Sportsman Edition’s truck camper design is based on our popular 8-11EXSE floor plans. They offer all the benefits of the two piece molded fiberglass camper clam shell design (lightweight, only one seam on the truck camper, low center of gravity, fully insulated). This non-slide short bed truck camper fits 3/4 ton and larger short box pick up trucks.
