Get ready for fall camping season with the protection of a hard-sided travel trailer! This Hood River Edition (HRE) with 3" lift is well maintained with lots of upgrades. We added a 200 watt, expandable Zamp Obsidian solar system to the roof with Victron controller in July 2020 ($2500 installed). As a result we’ve never had to plug in the trailer since it was installed. Unless you need to run the A/C, you won’t have to either. This RPod 179 also has every upgrade most owners install right off the dealer lot. These include: 10” foam mattress, upgraded scissors jacks, upgraded black and gray tank hangers (stock ones break often), cover, and upgraded Goodyear tires.

We had our wheel bearings seize and fail this summer but the great news is there was no damage to the trailer itself and it now has an all-new axle, brake, and wheel assembly ($4k value). The 179 layout is arguably the best kitchen layout in an R-Pod with lots of counterspace and positioned right next to the door for easy outside access. The slide has the dinette which converts to a bed, and the trailer queen master bed is super comfortable. Wet bath, outdoor shower, 30 gallon fresh, gray and black tanks. Extras include cover and will consider including the bike rack adapter over the tongue.
