I am the second owner of this RV and first owner of an available Honda. The first owner lived near Raleigh, NC and used it as a beach house coupled with an annual run to Florida. This Discovery has been my full time home going on 6-years. The unit has all the standard features of most 2004 Fleetwood Discovery 39L’s except changes I made to make it a self-contained office and a more comfortable home. The major modifications include the following:

• Replacement of a small love seat behind the passenger seat with a desk made of the same Cherrywood and corium as the original counters. The desk is complete with cell phone booster and a 50-inch flat screen.
• The original analog TVs and satellite dish were discarded and a new DISH satellite dish installed to work with the large flat screen in the office.
• The couch from hell was replaced with two Lazy Boy recliners. I rotate their use and cover the one I’m using so they are like new.

Besides these obvious changes, the unit has been very well maintained with replacements done for all major components except the drivetrain, front air conditioner, and heaters. The refrigerator was completely rebuilt this year at a cost of $2700.  This includes defogging of all the windows except those in the bedroom. It has 65,000 miles and averaged 4-5000 miles per year and has annual oil change and semi-annual fuel filters change. The batteries are 3+ years old. Pre-Covid, I had planned on returning to PA where I normally summer and had just upgraded the rear camera to a dual color camera system with a 10-inch color screen. I did this originally 5-years ago and love the “rear view mirror” quality of the system but wanted a larger screen and new cameras. Even the remote door lock system is new with two fobs that have not been used. Additionally, the headlights and spotlight were updated and a Safety-Plus system added to the front suspension. The dinette seats and window valances were professionally recovered last year. The dinette makes a surprisingly comfortable bed for a short person.The 2014 Honda CRV LX is stock except it has leather seats with heaters. It is fitted with a Blue Ox tow system, RV tail light wiring, and includes a Patriot braking system. This is the last year that CRVs can be flat towed. It has about 94K miles and has been religiously serviced at Honda. Bundled price of the RV plus Honda is $54000 OBO.
